Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026
These terms set out the rules for using Veriis. We've kept them as clear as we can — if anything is unclear, our team is happy to help.
01Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Veriis document-intelligence platform, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing the Service or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
02Accounts and access
Access to Veriis is provisioned by us and may be scoped to your organization's workspace. You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under them.
You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or revoke access that we reasonably believe has been compromised or used in violation of these terms.
03Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including data-protection and identity-verification regulations in your jurisdiction.
You may not use the Service to process documents you are not authorized to handle, to attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform, or to exceed the rate limits and quotas associated with your plan.
04Your data and content
You retain all rights to the documents and data you submit. Veriis processes submissions solely to return structured extraction results to you, under the protections described in our Privacy Policy and Security overview.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and lawful basis to submit each document for processing.
05Service availability
We strive to keep the Service available and performant, but it is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
Planned maintenance and current status are communicated through your workspace and support channels.
06Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veriis Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Extraction outputs are provided to assist your workflows and should be reviewed where accuracy is material to a decision.
07Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
